Well... I went to see Van Hellsing over teh weekend and I totally got into it. I was laughing my ass off at Darcula and even more at teh Friar teh Werewolves looked cool and so did Dracula when he transformed. I was disappointed in Frankenstein because... well... he was a Bitch in that movie. Other than that, pretty good. Worth checking out.

OK, not that that's over with. I just saw teh Punisher today at teh $2 theater. FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! It only needed one thing to be teh perfect action movie. Sex. It had nudity, and LOTS of violence, great lines, and laugh out loud jokes. All it needed was to not cut away at teh start of teh sex scenes. It was a great movie. I'm definitely gettin' it on DVD when it comes out. I recommend that you should at least rent it. I think it may be teh best comic book adaptation yet. Sure they tweaked his origins (slightly) but I think they did it in a way so as to enhance his origins and make teh story even better. I am soooo glad I got to see this, I only wish I had seen it sooner, and gone to see it a few times.

Anyone like that King Arthur movie? It may be someones 'Movie I like' so I guess it's alright to post in here. Didn't wanna start a whole thread on it because I'm not exactly ready to jump up and go see it, just curious and all...
I really like Star Trek IV: teh Journey Home. That movie is awesomly funny at times, it's hard to hate.

Didn't wanna start a whole thread on it because I'm not exactly ready to jump up and go see it, just curious and all... I really like Star Trek IV: teh Journey Home. That movie is awesomly funny at times, it's hard to hate. (I'm on topic) If they gave out Oscars to trailers, King Arthur would win that one. teh trailer kicked ass and made me wanna go see it so badly. However, teh movie did not live up to teh trailer by a long shot. teh plot progressed slowly, and teh writing was bad. It seemed as if two different people were writing teh dialogue. One understood how people interacted and made teh knights seem believable characters. teh other felt teh need to have Arthur orate everything he says in teh entire movie. Here's just a hypothetical example. Bors: I'm fucking hungry, get me some food woman! His wife: Oh shuttup *rolls eyes and gets some food* Arthur: I am....*dramatic pause* hungry *pause* as well *weeps* Ok, that's being a little harsh, but it really did irk me. teh characters were great, I thought, other than that Arthur bit. Lancelot was a religious skeptic, but Arthur his best friend was very devout. It added a lot of depth and conflict to their friendship. Keira Knightly was a kick ass Guinevere; however, teh writers really didn't seem to know what to do with her for half teh movie. For most of teh time she stands around and looks pretty. Then, she gets all painted up and starts killing people and you're like "holy shit, I wanna have her babies". Or at least you would if you're me. teh battle scenes were also rather disappointing. Now, it might just be my desensitivity to blood & gore, but a battle scene just doesn't seem real to me unless someone actually BLEEDS. I'm used to movies like Braveheart, Gladiator, fuck even Lord of teh Rings had more realistic battle scenes, and those were half computer generated! If you're really curious, rent it, but it's certainly not worth teh time or money to see in teh theaters.

dude, I, Robot was actually pretty cool. nothing revolutionary or supercalifragilistic, but if you go expecting to be entertained (not blown away), you’ll have fun… especially if you’re an effects-geek like me . =P ooh! and for renters, Samurai Fiction is pretty sweet. a lot of times humor/irony doesn’t make it across teh language barrier with foreign movies, but I laughed out loud several times at this one. also: there are samurais. AND ninjas. what ya gone DO bitch.

Red mentioned this one a bit on teh last page, but that was like two and a half months ago now. I liked teh "teh Fifth Element" It was running on TNT last night, got pulled into watching it because my plans for 9pm on most Thursday nights generally aren't teh most lively one can imagine. But it was a pretty cool movie, all in all. Could have been better (much better in a couple areas) but I enjoyed teh movie as a whole. (and I don't care what anyone else things )

I got to see teh tail end of "teh Professional" last night on Bravo. That's a kick ass movie, though I recommend watching teh unedited European version, as opposed to teh American one. I think this is probably Natalie Portman's best movie, though I really wanna see Garden State cuz that looks good too.

I got two movies for you guys.
Tomb Raider is comming on TBS. Guys wanna do her, I wish I WAS her.
And 'Much Ado About Nothing'. If you get a chance, rent it. An all star cast, hot guys in pleather pants spouting Shakespear...what more do you need? On, it has Keanu Reves in it, but Denzel Washington more than makes up for that though.

Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!!!
That movie had me rolling for almost teh entire hour and a half. I reccommend it for anybody looking for stupid fun humor. It plenty of jokes, and plenty of physical comedy. So there's something for everybody.
If for no other reason, go see it just to hear Rip Torn say "That Dyke can THROW!".

Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle was teh funniest goddamn movie I've seen in a long time. It stoner humor, but damn that was funny. I've got to see it again, but this time I need to get high first. Doogie Howser rollin' on 'E' was really highlarious!! Who would have thought that teh guy who directed Dude Where's My Car could come up with something so great?

k, so I've watched quite a few movies teh past few days. I just saw teh first two Alien movies for teh first time, having already seen teh third and fourth... I think it goes without saying teh first part of teh series is much better quality than teh latter. Still, overall: marginal. No single movie in teh series is all that badass; taken altogether, eh. Cool concept, could've been executed better. teh first one I enjoyed more stylistically than any of teh rest, but it was far too sluggish. teh second, action-packed and better effects, but annoying characters & dialogue, and just remarkably shitty writing. It's been too long since I've seen either teh third or fourth-- I just remember being profoundly unimpressed, except with teh aliens themselves, which rock bountiful ass. Now, teh Triplets of Belleville--this weird French animated...thing-- was a fuckin' trip. Not so much trippy, just a fuckin' trip. In teh end, I think so much weirdness has happened, you had to have enjoyed at least some of it. If nothing else it's worth it just for teh song that'll get stuck in your head And, I just finished watching Bound, teh Wachowski Brothers' (of Matrix fame) directorial debut... man, wow. That shit surprised me; I didn't wanna take it seriously until I was halfway through it and realized I was watching with genuine interest. Really, I was just watching 'cause I heard there was a hot sex scene (which...mmm, there is), but it actually drew me in. teh casting was impeccable, teh plot never crept, teh dialogue never missed a beat. Shit, if teh bitches were just a liiiiiiiiiittle bit hotter, I'd probably even buy it!

I just saw "Amadeus" for teh first time last night. It left me breathless, rather like "American Beauty" did teh first time I saw it. A must see.
