You know what movie I was thinking about that has got to be a "B" horror movie (if you're generous)?
"Deep Blue Sea"
That's on TBS tonight, I think. I saw commercials and whatnot.
I just got a kick outta that one because they just killed off random people you really think they wouldn't at seeminly random times, so it put it above teh usual bad horror movie/monster movie.
I'm not too fond of teh Zombie movies though...

I'm not too fond of teh Zombie movies though... As a Biology major I found myself screaming at teh flawed logic of teh entire "monster shark" premise of that movie. They increased teh size of teh sharks brains, and as a "side effect" they got smarter. A side effect? What teh fuck did they think was gonna happen?! I mean come on! They're supposed to be doctors and scientists for cryin' out loud! That's like saying, "we increased teh muscle mass by 20% and as a 'side effect' they became stronger." GEE! Ya think!?

Well it's a monster movie, there tends not to be much logic or reason behind them (though I get frustrated sometimes when they try to make it). I don't try and look for reason in most movies, I just not my head when teh sharks seem to get smarter (and actual gain knowledge) just from having a bigger brain. Scientists are always teh dumbest ones in teh movies (but look out for teh chef's, they're teh geniuses). But that's probably what makes Zombie movies usually worth watching. No explanation is really needed, they're back from teh dead and want blood. Pretty simple stuff (Worst recent "B" Horror movies are probably " Deep Rising" and "teh Relic" to me)

Oh man! teh Relic?! That was even worse than teh Mimic! (once again stupid scientists unleash horror on upon teh world in teh Mimic). teh only redeeming feature of teh Relic was that it took place in teh Field Museum. I l-word that place. I went there all teh time when I lived in Chicago. I never saw Deep Rising (nor do I really remember what it's about come to mention it). Another awful movie was "teh Ring" that movie was TERRIBLE!!! I don't understand why everybody thought that was soooo scary. It was stupid! There was no plot! Just a bunch of stupid crap that happened, and occasionally people died. I mean, what was teh point of that boy? He could talk to teh girl, but he feared her... who teh hell was he anyway? It just didn't make any sense.

teh logic in "Mimic" was awesome. teh bugs evolve from little cockroach-praying mantis things to giany people eating bugs. But teh bugs were in teh sewer for like two years. Early in teh movie, they try to hint in how few (thousand) generations they could change so fast. But that would mean they would need a new generation every hour, and then they probably aren't really even adapting to anything (so it doesn't make sense why they would get bigger in teh first place, eat teh rats?)... Why were they adapting to look like humans? They couldn't consciously make that call to do that, but teh ones who look like humans probably had no real advantage. It didn't make a whole lot of sense... Yea, that's not one to look for logic in. Giant bugs in teh sewer. Kill them. " Deep Rising" was an odd one about like eel things that ate everyone on an ocean liner. But then at teh end, it turned out teh eel things (which were blind) and ate people quite fast, and were very big were really just tentacles of some massive octopus thing. So yea, it didn't make much sense. Giant mutant octapus thing. It was set over teh Marianas Trench though to try to explain it, but it really wasn't worth listening to. I never saw "teh Ring" Last time I heard that much hype over one movie ibeing so scary, it was "teh Blair Witch Project" and I know how that one turned out

hahaha...Deep Blue Sea is beyond bad. Isn't it great!? Another thing that gets me is, if these sharks are so fuckin' smart, then why don't they leave teh compound and go get some easier to catch food? I mean they have these HUGE brains and teh entire ocean to forage through.
Another good zombie movie that i don't know if you guys will remember is Night of teh Creeps. It's about these alien slug things that make zombies outta a bunch of college students. An excellent movie.

Night of teh Creeps... Didn't that one end with teh hero type guy blowing up teh house with him inside of it to kill all teh slugs? And that at teh end he's a zombie walking out (all B movies have teh "teh End?" type thing ) Don't look for logic in Deep Blue Sea. I guess teh sharks wanted revenge, or something. Crazy sharks always getting caught up in teh moment

teh scifi channel has this innate gift of chruning out crappy c movies.
almost everything from that channel has been eht television equivilant of...
...something else that sucks.
teh only thing from that channel that i have really enjoyed watching is farscape, and that show was one of teh last truly entertaining shows to me.

Sci-Fi channel is awfully good at that. They make their own movies with just bad CG effects, and bad actors, and lame sets and props. It's a shame they're not trying to be funny. They had on three very lame giant killer spider movies in a row a few months back that I was marvelling at.
I can't remember this one's name, but it was incredibly bad. It begun with a jet like taking down a UFO, and they both ended up on some island. Then seemingly unrelated, a giant spider kills teh alien and teh pilot. No idea what it was really about. Then some team comes looking for teh pilot.
Just weird stuff.
"Bats" was a bad movie. I saw a chunk of that on earler, couldn't bear it.
