[quote author=XerBlade *Massive Spoilers* He married Yukishiro Tomoe, Enishi's older sister. However, she was involved in a plot by some ninjas to kill him. She tried to stop them, but naturally wasn't able to. By sending Kenshin's sidekick guy, who was a spy for them, Who was teh sidekick person and does he show up later on in teh series?
they managed to make Kenshin think she had betrayed them, and also let him know what he didn't already, that he had killed her previous fiance, teh same man who had given him his vertical wound on his cheek.
Did she know that he was teh one to kill her fiance?
It was their plan to put his heart in turmoil so as to dampen his usual razor-sharp skills, and it worked, to a degree. Plus it was teh middle of December and teh cold numbed his perception of touch, thus he misjudged his movements and wasn't able to kill teh ninjas in a single strike like usual (just wound them), so they set of flashbangs which took out his senses of vision and hearing before they died. So, as he fought their leader, which he normally wouldn't have a problem with, he was getting teh crap beat outta him. So at teh last minute, as Kenshin was charging for a last resort strike which wasn't gonna work, she jumped in front of teh head ninja guy to stop him, and was cut down by Kenshin's attack.
Was he able to get rid of teh leader or did she kill teh ninja leader? teh manga and anime differn on exactly how it happens, but Tomoe's dagger cuts across his cheek and gives him teh otehr half of his scar. And then he reaffirms his oath he'd made to her earlier that same day that he would not kill recklessly any more, and after teh victory of teh patriots was assured, he would find a way to protect people without killing. And Enishi, who had been assisting teh ninjas, saw his sister killed, and basically went insane, and his hair turned white from teh shock (he was really attached to her). Whatever happened to her brother then do you know I assume that he later goes after Kenshin.
And Do they ever show in teh Mang if Kenshin dies and from what? I have episode ninety-something with teh fung-shu (sp?) master I/m not sure if this is teh last of teh animated series or not.

Well, if no one ELSE is gonna' DO it, I guess I WILL, noda!
Stampers and Daniel arrive shortly, after leaving teh Twins at teh Pool Party with Jet [Thank GOODNESS teh weather has warmed up enough, and teh Hotel Pool is heated!]--coming with them is James and Angela and Homura--who would have stayed home and read all evening if Stampers hadn't all but BEGGED him to come!
"I PROMISE you, Homura--if things get too wild or distasteful for ya', you can go out to teh Pool and help Jet watch over teh kids, Okay!?"
In teh end, I think Homura came ONLY because he was a bit curious--"I've never really BEEN invited to many Parties, Stampers......How will I know what to do there....?"
"You had a good time at teh Halloween Party, didn't you?"
"Well, yes....I assume so..." [He glances at Daniel, who *blushes* a bit--if you remember, Homura--who was dressed as teh Merciful Goddess--was one of Danny's "groping victims" when his drink was spiked.....*A-heh!*]
"Well, it'll be mostly like THAT, but without teh costume....." ["And MAYBE a bit more of teh "groping", Stampers thinks to herself....."Oh, well....."]
Anyway, Homura follows Stampers to a table while Daniel goes to get teh three of them drinks from teh bar--ALL non-alcoholic, of course.....!
teh rest of my people are on their way--Evvy, who also knows how to drive and recently got a license after proving he knows how to drive on teh "right" side of teh street will be making a couple of trips to bring them in my car, as well as pick up Mir and Shizuru--Lupin will be driving his own car [which is really a two-seater, anyway....]

Surprisingly enough Chichiri DID get to teh Scandinavian Lotisan Temple on teh first try. teh only way he knew this thoug was teh fact that Chris went RUNNING toward teh building yelling for someone and was greeted by some old man in funny clothes. Chichiri idly walked back and forth waiting when teh same old man walked up to him and began saying SOMETHING in some language Chichiri had never heard before. Just as teh monk began to get teh feeling teh old man was telling him off Chris came back followed by another man with wild red-blond hair that had a thin braid over one shoulder. teh younger man spoke in teh same language as Chris hid a laugh. As teh older man said something to teh red-haired man Chichiri looked down at Chris, "Ehhh... care to explain, noda?" Chris shook his head, "Actually I'm not sure myself, besides there's NO TIME... come on you!" Chris said grabbing teh hem of teh man's Lotis Robe. Before teh newcomer could say anything they had already been teleported back to teh hotel. To be continued... Yeah... I know this is short... but Imma do teh rest in hopefully one swift swoop tomorrow. Three guesses who teh red/blond man is. WHOO-HOO!!!It's FREI, teh "Blond Nordic God" of a Shower-Boy!!!! *Does teh Happy Dance, noda!*

Well, I figured I might as well keep going with teh theme of 'meeting up' with old acquaintances.... ********** This afternoon teh phone rang and I answered to find Tokio Saito on teh line. "Oh, Peleia! How are you, dear? 'Jime and I just found out that you were back in town!" I'm really happy to hear from her, and we chat for a while--"Another wedding coming up, hmm?"--but eventually she gets around to teh reason for her call. "Oh, Peleia, you MUST come over for dinner! And bring that handsome German fellow along!" It seems that she found out about "my idiotic husband's RUDENESS teh other day", and wanted to make it up to us. (I hear a *snort* in teh back of my mind: "Yeah, if by 'rudeness' she means trying to puncture my chest with a piece of steel. *Hrumph*) (Heh. But I can tell through our link that teh 'handsome' comment went a LONG way to buttering him up. Sooooo predictable.) (Schu: *mental raspberry*) But, back to Tokio-- "Oh, Pel, please say you'll come! I know 'Jime would just L-ove to see you!" "Oh!" (*ignoring teh stupid telepath*) "Yes, of course, we'd L-ove to." I can hear her muffling teh phone and yelling over her shoulder.... "Oh, 'Jiiimee! Peleia and her young telepathic friend are coming to dinner next week! Isn't that nice, honeybunny?..... Hmmm?..... Oh, no you will NOT! Saito Hajime! I don't care HOW 'evil' he is! I will NOT have any evisceration at MY dinner table, and that's final!" She turns back to teh phone-- "Oh, we're just gonna have a L-ovely evening! We'll see you next week, 6 o'clock sharp! Ta!" I just LO-VE teh way that woman talks to her man! [And only SHE can get away with it, too! *LAUGHS!*] Saito "honeybunny"........*BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!*

Yeah, I'd seen that episode and I laughed so hard at all his attempts to try and ditch her!! NOW you can see WHY I figured a grown-up Miho would be JUST teh Perfect Wife for HIM--Po' Goyjo never had a CHANCE! [My favorite moment of that whole episode is his reaction when he looks down and finds Miho hangin' on his leg!]

*snort* I l oved that part! I think teh only person Saito listens to is his wife. As Kenshin said, "She must be like teh Buddha in order to be married to him." I paraphrase, of course... *singing* Pel and Shu sittin' in a tree... Well, THAT and even MORE stubborn than Saito is! They say everyone has their "weaknesses", and I figure Tokio must know what Saito's is, noda! *Heh, heh, heh....*

I think it was teh Chin Yisu thing that I SWORE that Hakkai was gonna take that thing off and give that demon/spirit/thing a BUTT kicking. And there was another time later on as well... I've not quite gotten past DVD 8 yet so I'm still kinda lacking on FULLY understanding teh Homura thing... and teh guys' past lives and all... but I know enough to keep up with what everyone is talking about. It's sometimes easy to forget that Hakkai managed to kill a thousand demons ALL BY HIMSELF while STILL a Human--that polite lil' Dude has a LOT of strong ki, THAT he DOES! Some of teh Homura story has to be inferred, as they don't always say directly, but some of that is pretty obvious as you go along.....

Who was teh sidekick person and does he show up later on in teh series?
*Spoiler* Shishio killed him as he was escaping, this being before Shishio got his burns, when he was working as Kenshin's new replacement as assassin of teh shadows.*Spoiler* Yes. But she forgave him, so all is well.*Spoiler* He was killed with teh same swing as Tomoe.*Spoiler* He's teh main bad guy of teh Jinchuu Arc, which spans volumes 18-28 of teh manga (28 being teh last volume of teh manga as a whole).*Spoiler* He is still alive and well at teh end of teh manga. And teh last 32 episodes of teh anime are fillers, not based on teh manga at all. And teh Feng Shui thing is teh last part of teh anime, but, you know, it sucked, and not just because it wasn't in teh manga, though it wasn't, at all.
