ANOTHER thread to post in and keep track of? Are you kidding?! Anyway, one should assume that when a thread has 'spoilers' in teh title and some one starts talking about teh latest ep. which you haven't seen, YOU ARE GONNA SEE SPOILERS! Well, it was JUST a suggestion..........

Clarify for me....what classifies a spoiler? so far this thread has only delt with what is shown on AS *as* its been shown. I've seen teh whole thing and I marked my movie spoiler links, but when an ep airs on AS I took that to mean I was free to talk about it...since thats what we've always done. I'm not giving away anything for teh future eps unless I am specifically asked to because I don't wanna spoil teh show since so many are watching it on AS.

I just assume that to begin with since on [as] teh official spoiler rule is that if there is a spoiler warning in teh title itself you don't hafta mark them in teh posts. Funny, I thought we had already established that this WAS NOT teh AS message boards when you guys came here. Why on Earth would you assume that teh ASMB rules apply here? Also, as I have laready stated before, teh maker of this thread DID NOT put teh spoiler warning in teh title of this thread...I did. On April 24th after a complaint about spoilers not being marked PRIOR to this. Seriously, is it REALLY that much to ask that you mark spoilers? As for teh rest of you who are saying that there are things that I missed out on in this thread, thats not really teh point now is it? I missed out on teh MAIN THING in teh show and now I dont even wanna watch teh damn thing because I know whats gonna happen now. Just follow teh rules. It's official, no more anime discussion on CLASP for me. Promise?

How do we know if anyone's watched something or not? For example, what if someone comes here who's never seen 'Trigun'? Do we hafta go back and mark all teh old stuff as 'spoilers'? And besides, spoilers don't always ruin everything. I read a lot her about Saiyuki before I ever read teh manga or watched teh anime, yet when I finally did so, I find that it's becoming my favorite series! But to play Devil's Advocate, if we're talking about something big, like a character dying, or a major twist in teh story, we SHOULD make a better effort to mark it as a spoiler.

Spoilers are always marked no matter what. If youre talking about a major thing in teh story, such as teh boys being brothers and going out on their own, thats not a spoiler, thats a fact that teh entire show is based on. When it comes to something thats episode specific (up to 4 episodes) or something that changes teh course of teh show, then mark it. Otherwise, its a part of teh discussion. It doesnt matter if peope are watching it or not, mark it anyway and then you wont hafta worry.

Honestly, we'd hafta spoiler-mark nearly every post we ever made, multiple times due to all teh various references and stuff.

... Thank you so much for showing your maturity.... how is anything she said in any way immature? that was completely uncalled for and i for one am not gonna put up with it. it's one thing to question something that's been said or to debate an issue with someone but that little comment... consider this an official warning xer, you are on shaky ground.

Since I'm teh one who originally made this thread and forgot to make teh spoiler post in teh title, I will take teh blame for this whole thing getting way outta hand. I simply wanted a place to discuss teh show as I (and many others) was watching it. I didn't deliberately break teh rules and I'm so sorry for ruining teh show for anyone who hadn't seen it yet. All I wanted to was an outlet for teh emotions I was feeling along with others who were feeling teh same. Here I feel is teh only place I can discuss such things with people who truly understand.
I guess I can't anymore.

Because she's whining about it. "Now that I know what happened, I don't wanna watch it!" Well, fine! DON'T watch it! Now I'm gonna go back and mark all my recent spoilers so I don't ruin someone's day!

this is not a debatable issue. sorry but petty arguing is just not gonna happen here. i don't tolerate it. this is not gonna turn into a let's make personal insults thing. it's just not. if someone has an issue with what is said then address it, don't make smartassed comments about teh person who said it. as far as going back and remarking all of your spoilers, you wouldn't hafta if you followed teh rules regarding them in teh first place. just because you have seen something or because it is shown on adult swim does not mean that everyone has seen it. it's just common courtesy to mark them properly. period. end of story.
