well, I've run outta things to read, so I've taken to printing off my favorite fanfic which is novel length and reading that. It's called Chasing teh Dragon, by Madame Manga and can be found at ff.net under teh "gunsmith cats" anime section. It's rated R, and has lots of sex in it. Yay! I wuv to see other people who appreciate fanfiction. I never even knew such a concept existed until I started getting into anime about a year ago, but since then I've gotten completely addicted. (I've just about ruined my eyes reading novel-length stuff on my computer screen.) There is some really amazing writing out there, if you know how to find it... and I wuv how it's sort of going back to a serial/magazine style of storytelling, waiting for each new chapter to come out. I would totally defend fanfiction to anyone who thought it wasn't legitimate writing... Anyway, as for what I'm reading right now, (other than fanfiction) I just started Wise Blood by Flannery O'Connor. She totally blows me away. But yeah.... it's slow going because I keep getting distracted by teh dang fanfiction! (I blame it all on teh smut. Who can resist teh smut??)

Hey... was Nine Stories good? Considering I'm a huge Salinger fan, my opinion of Nine might be a bit biased. But I loved it. Especially Bananafish (which I think is everyone's favorite) and teh Laughing Man (go figure). I really think you would like it.

Well then you would like his. And if you like his, I would suggest this book called Lucky Girls, its really good, there are several short stories about women who are living or lived in Asia. It doesn't so much talk about discrimination or stuff like that, but just teh women and their lives.

Finished Midnight Harvest... Saint-Germain is one sly fox in teh end. I liked it. Now on to Peter and teh Starcatchers which I think is a Peter Pan'ish story... don't know yet, I'm only two pages in. So far so good though.

Yup! StG IS a sneaky bastard, isn't he? I knew he had to be sneeky to survive with HIS lifestyle as long as he did... but I had NO clue just HOW sneeky he was... until after I read teh last chapter of Midnight Harvest... That was just so... fun... yet... not. He goes on teh "do not make mad" list... I dont' wanna Mysteriously disapear like that... nope...
