I just got finished reading "Sister of teh Dead" and I'm trying to collect some more of my "Forgotten Realm" books because I tear through them far too quickly. They are quite good.

Which one's are you looking for now? More by Bob Salvatore? Or a different series? Check out used book stores and goodwill stores. Those are great places to find teh older books.

Salvatore, of course and I have no problems finding most of them. But being that I'm quite lazy, I don't goto get them when I have teh means. Though, that did change recently. I picked up teh entire Dark Elf Trilogy on Friday. Haven't read them yet. Too many dvd's and shit left unwatched... well, not now. Anyway, I've been reading them outta order (to put it mildly) and I'm gonna hafta read them all over again. I don't mind though, they're pretty good.

I'm still going through teh Drizzt series and I'm on Starless Night for an hour or so because I'm nearly done with that one. I also picked up teh uncanny x-men trilogy (teh actual book, not teh comic) and I'll read that after teh Drizzt series is complete.

You got teh whole Triology? (You mean teh one by Christopher Golden right?) I have teh first one, and it took me years just to find volume 2. I have no idea when/if I'll ever find 3.

"River of Gods" by Ian McDonald
I picked this book up in a bookstore in London Heathrow airport, and I hafta say it's definitely one of teh most interesting things I've read this year.
It's set in India in 2047 and follows teh lives of about ten different people. It switches perspective from chapter to chapter, and includes lots of hindi words and phrases, not to mention teh terms that build a fairly believable sci-fi sort of setting. All of that makes it rather hard to read, but teh most difficult aspect of teh book is that it's written primarily in present tense.
However, I really like it so far (I'm only like halfway done). teh story's starting to shape up, and I am already involved in teh lives of teh characters, some more than others, and interested in their interactions. teh world they live in is completely believable and fairly realistic. But teh best part is that one of teh characters is a professor from teh University of Kansas. Mwhahahahhahaahhahaa.
Not too bad for a random grab from teh scifi/fantasy section.

I got teh all-in-book. All three books neatly packaged in one thickassed paperback book! teh cover-art is fucking great too. I was tempted to dual-read but those series are worlds within themselves and I won't have much time for much else. Besides, Veronica (my PS2) would get lonely and I can't have that.

i finally finished house of leaves. i must say that it was a fantastic book but at times, a challenging read. it took me a few months to finish it. it is over 700 pages long and all but still, weaveworld was almost that and it only took me a few weeks to finish.

I've never read them. I have nothing against them. I will admit to being prejudiced against teh rabid fans, they're one step above furries in my book. I'd like to think that someday I will read them.
I'm currently reading Robert Ludlum's Bourne Identity (when I go to sleep at night), Stephen King's Talisman (when I'm sitting on teh john)and Robert S. Lifton's Best Evidence: Disquise and Deception in teh Assassination of John F. Kennedy(when nothing good's on TV).
