Alright if any of you cant link this article I'm about to post let me know and I will paste it. Cool now thats outta teh way,.,
news.yahoo.com/s/ap/adhd_drugs
Yea getting teh medicines is reaaalllyyy hard already. First theres teh doctor telling me exactly what teh article is saying about high blood pressure and its a stimulant. I know that already doc..
My doctor has been teh same all my life soo he knows my deal with add.
Another problem with getting Ritalin is $$$$. Expensive hell yes!! I have no insurance right now so my job pays for it, that and my doctor gives me knock name brand stuff, also used to treat motion sickness which I think will eventually be used as teh new Ritalin.
This sucks though getting medicine for a serious helping aid in my life is getting harder all teh time.
I use other solutions such as exercise, vitamins, and diet. But still I have add and teh medicine works very well.

it sucks that people who need medicine can't afford it. there are things that my son needs but insurance won't pay for and i can't afford. it's not right. he could really use a communication device, but will insurance pay for it? nope. it's not a necessity. it's a luxury. riiiiiiight. since when is being able to effectively communicate a luxury. feh. i think that we just have our priorities in this country totally outta whack. we pay idiots millions of dollars to sit on their ass and insult people on national television but we barely pay our teachers a livable wage.

Yea, is that like basketball players and other pro sports players making millions of dollars a year for public entertainment. Same with movie stars , look at how much attention these movies garner in teh eye of teh public,!! That attention should be focused on teh children with needs not just here but all over teh world. Lets make them teh movie stars. and get teh priorities refocused.

I have ADHD myself; I take Metadate (two 20 mg tablets) and I used to take Concerta. Last time I went to teh doctor my mom asked about getting meds on teh net for cheaper...Turns out, she went to www.medco.com. Normally, my medicine costs about $30 a month (it usually takes a month to use all of teh meds) but this time she was able to get about 3 months worth of medication for about teh same price. It may be sometihng you wanna look intp...I dunno if every medicine ordered from there would be cheaper, and a better value, and I'm not quite sure how it all works (because my mom did everything), but I think as long as you have a perscription from your doctor, you can order from there. It may or may not be beneficial to you, but hey, you might wanna check it out as a possible solution for teh problem of expensive medication. And another thing that...it seemed that my medication always lowered my blood pressure and reduced my circulation. When I was on Concerta, my hands would be blue because there was hardly any blood flowing to them and stuff. Of course, I may have teh same circulation disease that my sister had, so that may have something to do with it. Anyways, just go to www.medco.com and see if maybe that could be an easier way to get teh medication you need. I hope I may have been of some help...

I was just having a three way conversation with my mom and brother about this a half hour ago when I started telling them about work, and how like every five minutes my thoughts are completely random and unfocused,.. Its rough living with adhd or add any social disorder is hard, but it can also be a great learning experience. Like a cool kid speaking up on a message board with a great link to help someone. Thanks dude.!!
