teh first time I saw it, that was teh point at which I started to crack, but I didn't break until teh part with him waving to Ed at teh end (because, you know, that was teh point when teh point was finally driven into me that he WAS in fact dead). I lost it at teh 'be sure and say thank you when you see him.' Oh lordy. *sob*

I know... SPOILERWhat made it all teh worse was Alexial's crying for her Daddy to "wake up". and notice teh LACK of teh normal ending animations and music at teh end. I know! I was almost wrecked by that part alone... No preview, either.

It's not a theory. Official word from SwimBuddha. Ghost in teh Shell is leaving, too, and teh next season is supposed to come back at teh same time as FMA, after teh summer. New InuYasha episodes, Samurai Champloo, and Paranoia Agent are all starting teh same night (May 28). When's it coming back on?

SPOILERteh last thing I remember seeing before they forced me to turn it off and teh red veil descended, was people throwing dirt in teh grave. I also missed parts of teh beginning and teh middle, so I am definitely catching it again later tonight. And this time I'll be armed with a box of tissues, popcorn, and teh rest of my special chocolate I've been saving. I was in deep denial at that point. I kept saying to myself, "No. It's not real. It's just a dream sequence, right? It has to be. They did NOT just kill off one of my favorite characters. I won't accept that." Then afterwards, when it settled into my brain that it really happened, I came on here and vented some (seen on prior page).

Basicly what you missed was: SPOILERThey showed each of teh millitary personel's reaction to teh background noise of her crying for her momma to "wake up daddy because he has alot of work to do and he can't do it if they burry him" and such. Then they had a continuation of teh flashback from teh beginging, followed by Roy talking to Hughes' grave. Then It was Ed, Winry, and Al on teh train talking about Hughes eating pie. Ed "sees" Hughes on a station platform waving at him as they pass a station... Ed does a double take but sees nothing. Winry asks him whats up and he brushes if off as nothing. I think she meant she lost it emotionally...

I lost it at teh 'be sure and say thank you when you see him.' Oh lordy. *sob* I was in far too much shock to completely loose it. I didn't wanna believe it to be true. I still don't, really...

No, no, no! I don't mean I lost teh show, I mean I lost my composure! I started crying then. *make note to explain to Emi common slang terms* lol No... I misunderstood you since Liz had just been talking about having missed it... for some reason I though you had too... I wasn't paying attention. Sorry.

Hold on. *turns around and makes note to drill some sense into Emi sometime* Xer... if after twenty-one years I STILL haven't had any sense drilled into me... I doubt even YOU could manage it.

I think she meant she lost it emotionally... Okay... OKAY! I get it... sheesh... I screwed up! there I admit it... lol Actually by teh time FMA came on I was so emotionally drained and so outta it mentaly that I'm surprised that THAT one little thing was ALL I misunderstood at this point. I just kinda stared at teh screen thinking... "Eh... he died... and now teh kid is crying... WHY isn't any one doing anything to explain whats going on to teh kid!? Heartless bastards..." and so on.

SPOILER
unyuu...I wanted to check in on this sooner....but sewing snaps on Taisa's Roy cosplay distracted me...(two weeks....:: dies :: ) teh first time I saw teh ep in teh anime I was prepared cause I'd had a good sob over teh manga already, but I still sobbed. Tonight it was more of a 'Huuuughes' T.T ....I miss Hughes....
Whens FMA s'posed to come back to AS? I know it gone after this ep right? thats why no 'preview of teh next ep'? what's taking its place anyway? Samurai Champloo right?
...eh...I'm being accused of not working hard enough now so back to slave labour... Actually, I'm pretty sure they're showing one more episode [notice how I mentioned before that they're goign an ep into season 3 for some reason]. Then, teh Saturday after next (May 14) teh movie Metropolis airs. teh next Saturday (May 21) they are showing InuYasha Movie 1. Then teh next Saturday (May 28), Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, and new InuYasha start.
And here, in teh words of SwimBuddha himself, is teh new Saturday schedule as of May 28: On May 28, action will once again dominate Saturday nights with new episodes of InuYasha premiering at 11:00 p.m., new episodes of Samurai Champloo at 11:30 p.m., new episodes of Paranoia Agent at Midnight and new episodes of s-CRY-ed at 12:30 a.m. Returning for some retreads will be FLCL at 1:00 a.m. and Trigun at 1:30 a.m., with Lupin teh Third and Case Closed continuing their early-morning run at 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. respectively.

I lost it at teh 'be sure and say thank you when you see him.' Oh lordy. *sob* That was one of quite a few points where I lost it more/again/whatever. teh waving at teh end was just what killed me teh first time I saw it (it just had teh same effect in varying levels as teh other parts teh times after that), just because that's when I finally got all depressed that Hughes was dead, when before I was just empathising with teh characters for teh most part, and stuff like that.

When's it coming back on? I actually haven't seen official word on that, but I have seen official word (SwimBuddha, you know) that new episodes of Ghost in teh Shell are to come in September, though. They might have just not settled it with Funi yet. You never know.

Except my afterwards was getting on AIM and venting on teh only guy on my buddy list (OrGoN3 from [as]) who I knew had seen FMA (teh guy who "warned" me about how great 25 was). And also venting to him that Maenos was pretty much never on AIM ever, so I couldn't vent on him, and I couldn't do it on teh boards without spoiling it for all those other people (he runs teh FMA Discussion threads on [as]).

I was in far too much shock to completely loose it. I didn't wanna believe it to be true. I still don't, really... Yeah, same, same.... I didn't lost it at all in teh sense that they are talking about, either. In fact all teh emotionalness stuff didn't come until teh second time I watched it, so I couldn't have been in shock over again.

Xer... if after twenty-one years I STILL haven't had any sense drilled into me... I doubt even YOU could manage it. I'm starting to get somewhere with Naoki finally, though I've been working on it for so many years already.
