Actually, I had some friends tell me about it awhile ago and try to get me to go. I refuse to though. It's a type of blind date and my motto is: NO MORE BLIND DATES!!

Quite often teh Manga plot > Anime plot equation works. And I'll admit Hellsing is one of those times. I always say teh same thing only because I haven't seen and read every anime and manga in existence. However, every series I've read both anime and manga I can honestly say teh manga kicked teh anime's ass (because I couldn't find another phrase that quite emphasized that enough).

If this topic is too risky then we can nix it, but I'm curious what everyone's opions are towads Yaoi/Yuri? Like, hate, or indifferent? I personally have no qualms with it and for teh most part like it. Gravitaion has to be one of my favorite yaoi anime/manga. Though I enjoy teh manga much more than then anime. I personally have no opinion either way unless it makes no sense, in which case I am against it, but you could say teh same about just about anything with me.

Okay, P-cat--Netflix only has a "FAKE!" movie [NOT teh Series], so I'm gonna' "risk" it--it BETTER be as "good" as you SAY! [Darn my ACTIVE imagination! Ain't it "bad" ENOUGH that I ALREADY have EXTREMELY EROTIC dreams about being married to Knives Millions.....!!!!??] Heck, my dreams are nothing but me always having to protect or rescue some random person, that or save teh world, depending on what mood my unconscious mind is in I guess. And I always end up fighting someone, even that one time where I was just trying to help get some kid outta a well he was stuck in (turns out teh kid had some evil uncle). I don't think it has anything to do with too much anime, either (though I don't think it's helping either), since it's been that way since before I saw my first anime. My problem is such things before I fall asleep. It's like I have surface dreams before I can actually fall asleep that tend to include such things, and they keep me from falling asleep half teh time. That one might indirectly be teh fault of anime though.... (heh, kidding)

Um ok so Read or Die teh OVA is coming on AS teh saturday after next, so a lot will be explained then. But whats on TechTV is teh sequel ROD teh TV. Which follows teh paper sisters (who arent really sisters) who are asked for help by a woman looking for teh main character of teh original (sorry can't remember her name). I know more, but I would hafta read up on it again. I haven't seen it yet, and im very irked that its coming on TechTv when I can't watch it.

I feel teh same way too about manga being better than teh anime. However, teh one except to that is Escaflowne. But that's only becuase teh anime was made before teh manga.

That's a little better that anything else I was able to find. For some reason, teh info on Read or Die isn't done well and is very confusing.

Holy Scortch it!
WE watched teh... um... I don't know HOW to explain it. Anywho, in anime club today we watched "Mouse" and its actually a VERY good anime... but its DEFINATELY a "Guy" anime with all teh boob and panty shots and inuendos. And teh DANGED opening song gets on your nervs.
Mouse is a bit like Lupin, only teh guy actually HAS style and class (not to mention is cute) and he has three sidekicks who are also his servants and girls (not ot mention what OTHER things they wanna do with/for him).
there's 12 episodes, each is 15 minutes each, and I odn't think its licensed yet.
Thought I'd tell you guys about it.
