so i'm reading teh hitchhiker series, as i know a number of you have, and/or are currently doing. so i figured this would be a good sounding board for ideas, and such that people have about it, and may even convince a few people to read it...
so i guess i'll start off easy, who are everyone's favorite charactors, and why?
(basic spoiler rules apply)

Kind of cliche, but I think I like Zaphod. He's a self-important, narcissistic hedonist, and a true lover of life who puts silly things like "self preservation" second after just doing anything to have fun. And his particular brand of nihilistic anarchism...more than being entertaining, it's respectable.

Probably Arthur, just because.
Although marvin is pretty awesome.
Currently I'm somewhere in teh middle of teh restruant at teh end of teh universe and need to get back into teh habit of reading it since I haven't picked it up at all since before exams.

i've been having teh same problem, having been reading as regularly as i'd necessarily like to, it's been far too intermitant, i blame it on teh interwebs
i'm about halfway through "thanks for teh fish" or whichever teh actual title is, i don't have teh book nearby, so that's what i'll settle with for now...
oh, i'm kind of curious..
#*#*#*#*#SPOILERS*#*#*#*#*
do they figure out why teh world wound up coming back, or is that left to my imagination?
...a simple yes/no would suffice
#*#*#*#*#ENDSPOILERS*#*#*#*#*

Not only a simple "yes," but a very solid and definite yes.

I have a site that has teh whole books on it that I use for quotes sometimes, if you're interested in that... That way you could still read it, even though (in my opinion) it's much more satisfying to read teh actual book rather than a copy online...
