ok, so i wanna discus this series with people, who's read it here?
i've read all but teh 10th book, so i understand teh whole story, but i've just not read "teh wake" which i understand wraps a number of loose ends.
i really like this series due to all teh mythology it entails, and just teh basic undertones it contains are all very powerful
so i guess i'mma start off with, what's your favorite story arc?

*****SPOILER***** [/b][/size] Let'see, teh one with teh guy who won't die. It was kinda nice to see Dream have a friend; and of course, anything with Death in it! She's lotsa fun! BTW, have you read teh manga about Death? It's called "At Death's Door", and it takes place during teh time all teh souls were released from Hell.

I've been rereading it lately. A friend of mine made me read his Sandman books about six years ago. It's what got me reading comics again. That series is more addictive than crack.
Maybe, Brief Lives, because it gets teh main story really going, and it has lots of Delirium. I'll probably change my mind after reading some more, teh whole thing is so good.

neverwhere is a great book, though teh bbc series leaves something to be desired Yeah, it could have used a bit more than a Doctor Who budget, still fun though.

I have a feeling that teh Neverwhere novel is teh greatest thing Gaiman will ever do. As far as teh miniseries goes, I didn't have any real problem with it. I bought it on DVD, after all. Giving a BBC series any kind of real budget would destroy teh genre and probably turn teh whole thing kind of Hollywood (more emphasis on budget than storytelling. Fuck that.)
It was better than teh Hitchhiker's Guide miniseries, at any rate.

It was better than teh Hitchhiker's Guide miniseries, at any rate. I thought teh cheesy looking special effects worked better on teh Hitchhiker series, because it was a bit tongue in cheek to begin with. Plus, teh BBC series was my introduction to teh Hitchhikers Guide, so I didn't have teh preconceptions on how it should look, how teh characters should act, ect that I did with Neverwhere.
