I've read Long Dark Teatime two or three times now, and I never really felt like I was lacking anything from not having read its predacessor. But I've been searching for a copy of teh first one. It appears they ran another printing recently, and Amazon had it in stock. So I now have it. And am, as of this moment, gonna put on some Procol Harum, have a couple shots of Jaeger, and lay down and read what may possibly be teh book I have anticipated most in my entire life.
Then I'm gonna worship my first editions of Salmon of Doubt and Last Chance to See, and get ready for a long night of hard drinking and video gaming tomorrow night.

I think my copy of Mostly Harmless might be first edition. teh rest of mine are all Science Fiction book club editions.

That's "Night Blooming". "Midnight Harvest" is teh one where SG and Roger travel cross-country across America and stay in San-Francisco for a while. Uh... okay I FINALLY finished Blood Games. It got good about halfway through... but was still slower than teh other two I've read so far. Now on to Night Blooming!

Yay! Then what after that? Peter and teh Starchasers... a peter pan'ish book. Kiddy level... should be a quick read. And then Chainfire by Terry Goodkind... because its out now and I'm can't WAIT to read it! Yay! More Mord Sith causing pain to unsuspecting wizards... not to mention teh storyline in that one will be INTENSE. (like teh last eight weren't?) And then... back to teh Saint-Germain books. If I tried to read teh entire series at once... I'd have "Saint-Germain" burn out and want NOTHING to do with teh books for a LONG time.

Actually as of tuesday it got amended... I'm now gonna read teh peterpan book then another Saint-germain book THEN chainfire... because then I hopefully will be able to lurk in my room and hide from teh world. I know as SOON as I get my hands on Chainfire you may not hear from me until I finish it... Or my brain will have turned to mush from reading it too much and I need a break from it thus I get online.

I have finished teh Hitchhikers series, and will now either be finishing teh Wheel of Time, or re-reading teh Coldfire Trilogy by C. S. Freidman.

I'm reading teh Wheel of Time series, and I just got teh 8th book, but I'm not letting myself read it until I'm on a plane. I can't decide which plane I wanna take it on though..to Austin or Paris. I'm leaning towards Austin, because then I'll get to read it sooner!

Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky is actually pretty damn good. It's a book for class so I thought it'd be boring, but it just rules so much for some reason.

Yanno books like that are called "classics" for a reason. And it's not just because they paid off a bunch of literary critics. (at least not all teh time)

Psh Doose of the Pink Panties. I have no respect for a book merely cause it's a classic. Tale of Two Cities is a classic, and I couldn't even get past teh first few pages without becoming incredibly bored. And you won't believe how often my AP English teachers have badmouthed Moby Dick, and for good reason. Classics, pff.
teh book is fiction and set in Russia, about an ex-student who likes talking to himself and plans to murder an old stingy pawnbroker because he thinks it would benefit humanity. I don't wanna spoil it, but teh shit he goes through is very interesting (he has a few screws loose), and of course there's always teh subplots. It's kinda confusing though, some of teh characters have more than one name (teh main character is called Raskolnikov, Rodya, Rodia, so on).
