Whats up with that Metalcolyps or whatever it is? What, they make animation outta anything now? Like Metalica needs a cartoon about it.

Well it's sort of a parody of teh "metal scene" from Brendon Small. Being someone who does "metal" and comedy I guess he's teh best person to do it. I mean they do have a song about coffee in teh extended trailer. I don't know how long that will be funny tho. Then again, it can't be worse then Boondocks (LOL R. KELLY JOKES ARE STILL FUNNY!, White people sure are crazy, "niggas" "niggas" "niggas"), Minorateam (whose only likable character is a racist villain), or Moral Orel (Hello, it's me, Jesus LAFFO!).

Yeah, I think AS may have missed teh mark with this one. BUT because I tend to not follow lemmings, I will stand up and say that I believe this WILL suck major cow penis.
I also didnt get 12oz mouse, minoriteam and one other show that I cant even remember teh name of. Eh well, I guess Im just lame like that.
I also dont care that much for teh new family guys. I mean, theyre funny and all, but they just seem more in your face anti religion than before. I cant stand that. Let people be, dont flaunt it that you think religion is stupid cause it aint funny. there are so many other things out there to rank on...*end mini tantrum*
And it was fun to see pee wees playhouse again for a week, but Im sick of it now. Show something else.

When they announced it I said "Robot Chicken will be lame and repetitive by season 2." When teh first episode aired I said "I told you, there is a limited amount of material. This is teh non-story segments from Family Guy in clay. It's gonna get repetitive" "NO WAY" Sure enough, it's lame and repetitive.
I've always had a beef with Family Guy for it's poor execution of character interaction and development, and an over-reliance on randomness to fill plot time.
This show has a chance. Brendon Small's projects have all had great dialog and situational humor. It looks like they're going for a show with Venture production values. I think it has a good shot at it, if done well. Imma wait and see.

Metalocalypse looks pretty funny to me, but I have at least a passing familiarity with metal in several of its forms, which is pretty much a self-parody by itself. When you get specific with subgenres, death metal, black metal, etc...you can't really make fun of it, so much as expand on it.
As far as AS is doing by itself, I think they're improving. Where showing live-action stuff is concerned, Pee-wee is immeasurably better than teh last one they did (I can't even say teh title, I'm so ashamed that people actually watched it, ever.) Especially if you consider its pedigree: based on a movie based on a parody of a kids' show which was presented as a live show intended for adults, which also happened to be Tim Burton's first major movie, starring Paul Reubens (who has been in more movies than you probably would ever know), Phil Hartman (hardly "children's programming" material), Laurence Fishburne (Just look at his credits!)...Not to mention teh appearance of teh character (with various names) in Cheech and Chong movies. And with as downright creepy as some of teh stop motion is and how suggestive some of teh lines are, it would never be shown before 10:00 P.M. these days.
Robot Chicken is probably more intelligent than at least Aqua Teen, if only because it is occasionally vaguely topical. Plus, I have actually liked Seth Green ever since he was on teh daily show, Jon Stewart asked him about how he handled being recognized when he went to clubs or to teh beach, and he said something along teh lines of, "I don't do that. I hate people, so I stay away from them." It's been a while, and that's far from teh actual quote, but that's what I got outta it.
I don't feel like responding to everyone personally. Until tomorrow night (tonight?) my main point still stands.

You brought up a good point about PeeWees play house that I was too lazy (and still pretty much am) to type out.
I was watching that show teh other night and noticed how many "taboo" topics it talked about.
Interracial dating (In teh 1980's that really wasnt teh common in atleast MY area of teh woods)
Smoking (That captian guy always has a cigar or pipe and they addressed actual smoking too)
Dating... period Cowboy whatever didnt know how to go out on a date with a "fine lady" so peewee and teh gang had to teach him)
Suicide (in a penny cartoon, she talked about a boy that annoyed her saying that if he didnt get what he wanted then he would kill himself.)
teh list goes on. Call it old age and fuddyduddyism, but I was shocked to learn that I had been watching that all along.
Not to mention teh Life guard eyecandy that walks around on camera all teh time for absolutly no reason at all....

Okay I was disappointed with Metalcolpyse or however you spell it. I was waiting for it to be funny.
And Robot Chicken's Care Bear segment made me sad.
