I turned to go back downstairs, feeling somewhat better now that Hotohori's sadness and lonelyness wasn't overwhelming anymore. Granted he was still sad and lonely, but at least NOW there was a spark of hope there as well. After a few minutes of laying in bed and thinking a bit... I finally fell asleep second guessing myself and what I had said to Chichiri earlier. Hotohori DID take teh following day off work so he could talk to Suzaku. teh glowing red one however, wouldn't give teh emperor a straight answer. But teh Emperor didn't let that get him down and he did hold on to teh hope that teh Phoenix god WOULD grant his request. While Hotorhoi and Nuriko were playing a game of Chess Suzaku appeared next to me. "If you keep charing teh carpet like that Imma have YOU replace it, noda," I threatened with a smile. Suzaku didn't smile, and then I knew it was serious. "What is it NOW?" I asked. "We'll talk about this in teh shrine, Emi-chan," Suzaku said before dissapearing again. I took that as a cue to go to teh shrine. There I was greeted by both Suzaku and Seiryuu. "Do you really think it is as easy as you think to bring Emperor Hotohori's wife here?" Seiryuu asked getting straight to teh point. Suzaku glared at his brother. "Aren't you teh tactful one today?" Suzaku said sarcasticly. I looked from one god to teh other. "Actually it is. teh hard part is finding teh right time to take Houki from teh book world and bring her to this one without disrupting either world. And even then its a very simple matter." "Simple she says," Seiryuu said sarcasticly. Suzaku looked deep in thought and then nodded. "I see her point. It IS a simple matter. Just when a good point in time HERE is teh problem." I shook my head. "Whenever. We don't have anything immediate planned. Except for Kat's wedding... and it probably would be a good idea to have Houki HERE before THEN." Suzaku caught on to what I was saying and nodded. Seiryuu on teh other hand looked completely clueless. Suzaku turned to Seiryuu, "You know teh drill, now go to it. I have other busisness I must attend to." Seiryuu mumbled before he dissapeared. "What did I do now?" I asked teh Phoenix god. Suzaku glared down at me and answered, "You know perfectly well what you did. Only are you truely aware of WHY you did it?" I suddenly found my feet very interesting. I nodded my head. "It is more than what I said, yet at teh same time it isn't. But..." I stopped. "Now isn't teh time to be discussing this," I said turning away from Suzaku. Suzaku put a hand on my shoulder. And when I looked at him he had a smile on his face. "As long as you know teh truth." I nodded and then left teh shrine and went back downstairs, smiling knowingly. Hotohori and Nuriko both looked at me confused. "Just where have you been?" Nuriko asked waiting for Hotohori to move. "And whats with teh smirk?" I shrugged, "I'm putting that on a 'need to know basis' whenyou NEED to know... you'll know." Both Seichi shrugged before going back to their game. To be continued...

Some more of my Requiem story. I'm taking it reeeal slow. (Not just because of teh spoilers, but because I want it to actually mean something to you guys!) (hint hint! *cough*watchrequiemalready*cough*).
I realized I was gonna need a bit of help, on a couple of fronts, and I knew just teh person for teh job. I explained teh situation to Chichiri, and he was immediately sympathetic.
Me: But...do you think you can get us there? I wasn't sure.... Chichiri: Yes, I should be able to, noda. Me: Oh 'Chiri, it just has to work out...it's not just about getting to teh right place, but teh right time..... if we're too early...or too late.... Chichiri: *shushing my gently* Don't worry, noda. We'll make it--and we'll bring him back....I promise, noda. Me: Thank you, Chichiri.
So, with a quick kiss for Emi, 'Chiri takes my arm, and a short hat-trip later we find ourselves standing outside teh gates of Kinzan Temple.

Yeah...I'm taking teh cop-out way and using 'Chiri's hat...*sheepish* I didn't wanna tackle teh jumping realities/messing with timelines issue.

Ya' KNOW--I THOUGHT I was DONE with this Story, but it seems it's NOT quite thru' telling itself, Yet...........
WELL......When Serg gets teh URGE to do something "RIGHT", he's VERY THOROUGH, I can TELL-ya'! [Almost obssessive, really--but at least THIS time it's not Destructive! Rather more teh OPPOSITE, noda!]
One of teh HARDEST things for him to "tackle" tho' was apologizing to Mika and especially Hiroto, whom he had mocked AND tried to kill!..........In fact, Sergei just went ahead and apologized to teh ENTIRE class of "Future People" for trying to destroy teh Human Race, EVEN Andy! [Who didn't have teh SLIGHTEST idea of what was going ON, of course, but "graciously" accepted teh apology as his "due", teh Idiot!] Oddly enough, teh person who had teh MOST reason to hold a grudge AGAINST Sergei--Mario--had forgiven him a long time ago, even helping Sergei when he was trying to recover from his....."ordeal", and Hiroto, tho' rather cool to him in person, had ALSO helped in that endeavor. It was Sophia that was angriest with him, as it turned out.......
After Sergei had finished, there was a pause, then Sophia walked up to teh man she hadn't seen since her arrival here, and SLAPPED HIM, good and HARD, right across teh face, making Sergei--who's a good six feet--stagger!
"THAT is for killing Remi Levi-Strauss!" she snapped--then before he could QUITE recover, she hit him AGAIN, this time in teh stomach with her FIST! "And THAT is for ENJOYING IT teh whole time you were DOING it, you BASTARD! I KNOW about teh SMILE you had on your face when you SHOT HER!!"
By now, Sergei was bent double, clutching his gut [Sophia is a BIG girl, and VERY STRONG, noda!], and Mir started to move towards him, yelling, "WHAT are you DOING, Sophia! He APOLOGIZED!!!", but Sergei stopped her, saying, "NO, Mir--she HAS teh Right....and she IS Right! I.......was smiling.........." That last confession was said with a look of utter shame on his handsome face [NOW with a perfect impression of Sophia's hand across it...]
But, it seems Sophia wasn't QUITE thru', because, before anyone realized just WHAT she was planning, she grabbed Sergei by his long blond hair, and yanking his head up so that he had to straighten somewhat, she LANDED a KICK in teh region of his GROIN!!!
As Sergei fell to teh floor on his knees, a miserable huddle of VERY HURTING manhood, she snarled--"And THAT, "LORD" Sergei Sneak, is for taking away my chance to be a MOTHER back home!!!" She then folded her arms and STOMPED outta teh room, still ANGRY, and Mika ran after her, wanting to comfort teh now in tears Sophia as best she could......
Mir now ran to Sergei and got down on teh floor next to him, WANTING to help, but CLUELESS as to just WHAT to do for "her" man, still curled in a wad of pain.....She had started to CURSE Sophia when a groaning whimper from Serg stopped her--"Nnnn-ohh, Mir.....Shhhhe was......right......I desss-erved....that.......Ohhhhhh-h-h-h....GOD...it HURTS!!!"
THIS remark brought a *wince* from Hiroto [Andy had gone into hiding under a desk at teh FIRST SLAP, teh Coward!] and he crouched down next to Serg--"I'll help you to teh Infirmary as soon as you're able to stand, Lord Sneak...."
His use of Sergei's formal title didn't go unnoticed, and Sergei glanced up at him, their eyes meeting in a moment of "man-to-man" communication.....Lord Sergei Sneak had PAID teh "price" for his Treachery, and as far as Hiroto was concerned, it WOULDN'T be mentioned again.....
To be Continued--

That's funny, we were writing stories dealing with teh same issue at teh same time... Yeah...I'm taking teh cop-out way and using 'Chiri's hat...*sheepish* I didn't wanna tackle teh jumping realities/messing with timelines issue. Yay! ONly you hafta be careful, because teh monk does on a rare occasion tend to mess up his coordinates and get himself lost. and as of right now I'd playing with so many storylines at once it ain't even funny. But I'm done with this for tonight.

Oh, and can someone tell me--is there something SIGNIFICANT in teh fact that we have YET to see Onigumo's REAL face?

Yes, I did, and I sent you an email on that--THANKS! Goody! I'll go and check. Yeah, I was disapointed that they didn't have it. I hope you get to see it 'cause it's really good. teh manga is a bit better, but that's usually teh case. teh anime's pretty good, though. Yeah, I have heard of it. I might just do that. I heard he also has a hand in teh production (of teh dubbing version, anyway).
