It's actually really NOT that scary. PGSM, teh live action version, is ONLY in Japanese because it's still running in Japan at teh moment. teh actresses are all very well cast (and hot *points at signature*) and it's really just everything I've ever loved about teh Sailor Moon universe rolled into one series. I've seen three episodes of it, in anime society at school. It wasn't bad... but it was a bit too cutsie for my liking.

i cant remember, it was last year i think in teh summer it first aired Yep, last year, though I think it really only started gaining popularity in teh fall... peanutcatNaoko Takeuchi, teh creator of Sailor Moon, got her licensing rights back...rights she'd sold to have teh anime (which she wasn't very pleased with) made. This live action version is just another product in teh continually evolving and rather timeless Sailormoon universe. Takeuchi is also re-releasing teh manga over in Japan, with all new covers and commentaries, etc. Most people think she's gearing up for something big with all this reinvention.

Now see...thats why we should include short-non spolier show descriptions when giving off show titles. seriously, what are those about? Actually, 3x3 eyes is about a race of ageless 3 eyed demon god thingys and their immortal servants called "Woe" and teh good ones trying to become human while trying to stop teh really bad from waking up. It's actually pretty good, but that's my take on it and we all know you don't trust my word when it comes to movies, atleast out in teh open. ;D

Those Who Hunt Elves is a hilarious series about a group of people randomly being transported into some elf world, theres teh idiot fighter, teh giant russian tank, teh hot asuka look alike and some other girl and stuff... basically they get some help and are abotu to be tleported bakc to their world when Junpei teh idiot does something and prettymuch ruins teh spell, teh fragments of teh spell spread to 5 random elf females and is on their skin, and ya know what that means?
running around stripping female elves nude!
no nudity though, and damn hilarious

You know, I suppose I should finally make a list. But it's hard, because, well, it's just hard. I've seen good anime, I've seen bad anime. It's rather rare that a series really stands out. But: There have been three series so far that I went outta my way to buy on DVD, to have forever and make my offspring bury with me. Those have been: Cowboy Bebop (which I already mentioned) FLCL (which others have mentioned) Serial Experiments: Lain (which most definitely is not for everyone.) As must see, for me, anyway, I can add to those Excel Saga Gunslinger Girl (I need this to come out on DVD. And I need them to not fuck with it at all when they English-ize it. Or I might be forced to hurt them.) After that, things get a little harder. Actually, a lot harder. I've really liked most of teh series I've seen all teh way through, but I wouldn't feel right calling them a "must-see." So I think I'll leave my list as it is, for now. ABSOLUTELY, MOST DEFINITELY is not for everyone. I'm sure I might like it(Lain) if I watch more than two episodes but um.... I just think it comes on too late at night on Tech Tv for me to comprehend it completely.
