Tomorrow is teh day kids!!! Or tonight at midnight for some, though I don't see a point in waiting at teh store until 12:30 then getting home to put teh game on teh shelf and go to bed and not get to play it until after work anyways.
Halo 2 will of course feature online play, and it may include online multiplayer co-op campaign (up to 16 players).

So agrees my Lvl 26 Jedi Weapons Master with 32 strength. Did you get a prestige class? If so what? I just started my second game, and I can't wait to be evil. EVIL! It's gonna be great!

I chose it for teh +3 strength bonus at full light side. I'll hafta load up teh game and let ya know what my guy was loaded out with. I will probably play it again with a dark side character, but not unitil I finish Resident Evil 4.

Well, it isn't exactly "upcoming," since I guess it is already out...
I picked up teh new Getaway today, which tells me that I'm totally outta teh loop when it comes to these things. I mean, this game completely snuck up on me. It's one of those things I probably should have been looking forward to, yet didn't even know it was in teh works.
No, I haven't started to play it yet. I probably will soon.

In some ways, I was impressed. In some ways, I was amused (hehe, boobies). But, honestly, I was rather disappointed. Mostly in teh story length. In teh original Getaway, I was constantly surprised at how long teh story lasted. Every time I thought I hit teh last mission, there was a significant plot twist, and teh game went on. And then I had to play it all over again, and I was glad to do so.
This time around, you play from three different characters' perspectives, but they're all integrated into a single story (rather than teh two separate perspectives with occasional overlaps that teh first game had). But teh total gameplay time was teh most disappointing part. It was just too short for me. Granted, I'm still gonna play through pretty much teh whole game over again so that I can collect all teh keys, without knowing why, but even playing through it a second time does not match teh extensive playing time of teh first installment.
As an aside note: as much as I enjoyed teh stealth and tactics involved in teh Sam missions, I still think she should have been able to pick up weapons.
teh story is much less dark and more melodramatic this time around, which I don't really approve of. In teh last game, teh story was deep and dark. teh opening events were downright depressing, really, but they gave teh story definition. Probably made teh game more engaging, too...a boxer-turned-bank-robber wanting to avenge his trainer just doesn't have teh same impact as a former mob goon turned honest citizen trying to avenge teh death of his wife and attempting to recover his abducted child.
Overall, I'd say buy teh Getaway, rent Black Monday. teh first one takes a couple days, teh second can be beat in a few hours.

Anyway, I'm waiting for Champions of Norrath 2, which is suppose to be out next week sometime. They have new classes of characters and you can import your lvl 50 characters there aswell.

No crap? Any certain date? I thought it wasn't due for another millenium. This totally helps me to forget teh pain of having teh release date of teh new Zelda game pushed back to June.

Nah, no specific date, just Spring 2005, so it's still likely to get pushed back. Hell, I still hafta get a ps2 and restart FF X. Of course, I didn't power game it, since I was playing it on someone else's system, so when I get my own, it will take me forever to finish it.
