I just wanted to let everyone know that Leisure Suit Larry - Magna Cum Laude is set for release on teh 21st of this month (that's 09-21-04). And yes, it's on both PS2 and XBOX and for you PC gamers, its there aswell. I've already paid for it and now I'm patiently (not really) awaiting it's arrival. Enjoy! I know I will

Just one week! www.xbox.com/en-us/fable/default.htmOh my sweet gaming gods. Cancel my phone, make my friends go away. This game will suck teh very life outta me. I'll need to be hooked up to a feeding tube just so I don't die from forgetting to eat. teh interviews on that site are excellent, and there's a ton of good screenshots.

I <3ed teh original LSL series, but I don't know how good teh new one'll be without Al Lowe having been involved in its development at all. He was Leisure Suit Larry... it was his brand of humor that made teh other ones so fun. Granted, it's not actually Larry as teh main character, so I'm sure they can take some liberties... I'll remain agnostic 'til teh PCGamer review.

Awesome! Frikkin' Awesome!
And yeah, I keep reading Al Lowe's site. I'm really pissed at teh way they jerked him around about LSL. That was really shitty. I'll probably play teh new game, but I'm sure it won't be teh same. And I'll definitely be playing it on teh PC, cuz I seriously doubt teh PS2 or XBox versions will have teh easter eggs that LSL games are famous for. I dunno, I just can't fight teh feeling that it's gonna suck, and suck hard.

Hmm, Legend of Zelda comes out sometme mid-next year for Gamecube, if no one has heard yet. I'm too lazy right now to dig up a link, but there isn't really that much info on it right now anyway. There have been a few quite impressive screenshots though, and teh trailer from E3 looks nice. Kind of like a more beautiful OoT. If they can match or surpass OoT's gameplay, I will bow to teh great god of Nintendo forever.

That'd be cool! OoT was teh reason I bought my N64 in teh first place. Now I might have a reason to think about getting a game cube.

I gotta say that Fable was pretty disappointing. They hyped it up to be some huge open ended rpg, but it was more like Knights of teh Old Republic. Plus, only twenty hours of gameplay is pretty weak, I got teh game tuesday night and was done with it on thursday afternoon. I'll hafta play through it again as an evil guy.

yeah, it actually seems pretty linear. you can't 'progress' without finding some way to complete certain tasks, and basically you've only got two choices on how to go about that (good or evil)... same as KotOR, and not even as cool. every character in teh game annoys me. every single accent grates on my nerves. it makes me wanna just destroy everything, and I can't even do that (stupid no-attacking-unless-they're-outlined-in-red BULLSHIT)!!

You can attack anyone in teh game. ANYONE! I watched my friend play his evil character as I was playing my good one, and he did just that, slaughtered an entire town and left to come back later and buy teh shops. Also, it seems that once you beat teh game and start a new one, there are 3 extra quest cards that you can access once you have enough renown. One of them is a snow troll quest, and I forget what teh others where. I am in teh process now of opening teh few remaining Demon doors and obtaining teh silver keys I missed.

Some of teh doors can only be accessed by an evil character and some you hafta commit random acts of violence in front of for them to open. It's actually becomes more interesting after you beat teh normal game and begin teh "do whatever teh fuck I wanna do" game. Sidenote: taking random towns peoples heads off with a bow and arrow is pretty fucking cool That game even caters to peoples homosexual tendencies. You can marry a frikkin another guy for pete's sake

If you marry at least 1 man, and at least 1 woman, your sexual preference will be listed as bisexual.

Did anyone play YuYu Hakusho dark tournament and/or X-Men Legends? I've seen them and thought about getting them, but teh X-Men games have been overall terrible in teh past and YuYu is suppose to be like teh DBZ games, but I'm not so sure how smoothly it will run. This stupid video store around here haven't gotten them in yet and Blockbuster is outta teh question. I'm banned, probably for life...
